LEFTOVER ROAST CHICKEN TERIKYAKI BAO BUNS
A delicious and super speedy dinner idea for using up your left over roast chicken 🐓
One thing about me is I HATE eating boring meals! The problem with this is, now that I am a mum of a new born, I don’t have time to be making extravagant meals every night (or any night for that matter). Before I went into labour I roasted, shredded and froze two whole chickens to make life a little easier when I got to the other-side. Now I am on the other-side I am SO grateful to my past self because it means I can throw together these delicious teriyaki chicken bao buns in literally 10 minutes!
The great thing about this recipe is it is super adaptable and perfect for using up the random left over bits you have in your fridge! Don’t have left over roast chicken?… No problem, just fry up a different protein! Got no sesame seeds?… Try chopped peanuts or even fried crispy onions instead! As for the veggies, just thinly slice whatever you’ve got!
